چکیده
This paper is devoted to the study of inhomogeneous wave equation with singular (less than continuous) time dependent coefficients. Particular attention given role lower order terms and suitable Levi conditions are formulated in obtain a very weak solution as introduced [15]. Very solutions for this kind equations also investigated from numerical point view two toy models: Heaviside function delta distribution, respectively, coefficient its principal part.

Wave equations with time-dependent coefficients
We study the damped wave equation with time-dependent coefficients utt(t, x) − a(t) 2 ∆u(t, x) − b ′ b (t)ut(t, x) = 0 in R n and prove energy estimates for a new class of coefficients.
متن کاملA High Order Approximation of the Two Dimensional Acoustic Wave Equation with Discontinuous Coefficients
This paper concerns with the modeling and construction of a fifth order method for two dimensional acoustic wave equation in heterogenous media. The method is based on a standard discretization of the problem on smooth regions and a nonstandard method for nonsmooth regions. The construction of the nonstandard method is based on the special treatment of the interface using suitable jump conditio...

متن کاملThe Wave Equation on Singular Space-times
The first part of my thesis lays the foundations to generalized Lorentz geometry. The basic algebraic structure of finite-dimensional modules over the ring of generalized numbers is investigated. This includes a new characterization of invertibility in the ring of generalized numbers as well as a characterization of free elements inside the n-dimensional module e R. The index of symmetric bilin...
متن کاملThe inhomogeneous heat equation on T
Define ‖f‖Hk = ∑ 0≤j≤k ∥∥∂j xf∥∥2L2 1/2 . If u is a distribution on T, ∂xu is also a distribution on T, and in particular, if u ∈ L(T) then ∂xu is a distribution on T. But if u ∈ H(T), for example, then ∂ xu is an element of L (T), rather than merely being a distribution. Fix T > 0. Let f ∈ L(0, T ;L(T)) and g ∈ H(T); as H(T) ⊂ C(T), we can speak about the value of g at every point rather ...
